Pastoral care

In der Klinik Diakonissen Schladming wird der Seelsorge ein angemessener Platz gegeben.

We are here for you

in times of illness, crisis, and loss, regardless of your religious affiliation and ideology.

We will come

and visit you in your room. You can also contact us trough the nursing staff.

We’ll take the time

to speak with you about what is affecting you and in the Moment that is important for you. We will listen to you in your hopes and anxieties, in your joy and in your sorrow. We are also here for your family.

We will accompany you

in your faith. Rooted in Christianity, we trust that one’s own life story can also be experienced as a story with God, who is with us and close to us. This experience can be a source of strength, even when other expectations result in disappointment. For the celebration of sacraments, such as the anointing of the sick or confession/counselling, we will be happy to contact a priest or your protestant minister.

We invite you

to join our religious Services in the hospital chapel (Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.: Protestant service, Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.: Catholic Mass). The hospital chapel is open for you around the clock for quiet and meditation.

We will help

if you wish to contact your local (Protestant or Catholic) pastor or an officially recognised religious community.

Jesus says:
What do you want me to do for you?
(Mk 10,51)
