Quality ist not a recent invention of today’s society, but is built on a long tradition. During the last century, quality control and quality assurance evolved into quality management. QM is a constant in the Austrian Hospital Environment.
The Klinik Diakonissen Schladming already made the decision to engage a quality management team several years ago in order to meet the challenges of a modern hospital. In order to ensure the future growth of the hospital, we decided to introduce a nationally and internationally acknowledged quality management system for our field of endeavour according to EN ISO 9001:2015 including pCC to the hospital. Early in 2016 we received a certificate from an external body verifying that our hospital meets the requirements of the quality management system.
This certifications process inspects the Klinik Diakonissen Schladming again every year to determine whether all the necessary requirements are satisfied and implemented and also whether they are applied in the daily routine of the hospital. This is the best way to meet patient needs and expectations as well as legal and official requirements and to ensure quality at the highest level.
